How do I know if dental implants are right for me?
Bone Grafting before Dental Implant Surgery
Since healthy bone growth is stimulated during the chewing action, missing teeth can result in the atrophy and loss of bone. For this reason, bone grafting may first need to be performed for some individuals in order to sufficiently strengthen the jawbone before an implant is placed. In some cases, patients can receive All-on-4® dental implants to skip bone grafts and other predatory procedures. Ask the dentist which option is right for you at your initial consultation.

Dr. Stofer uses state-of-the-art technology, including digital x-rays and Planmeca ProMax® 3D to determine if you are a good candidate and plan your treatment. He also uses the CEREC® system to fabricate same-day crowns and bridges.
We work exclusively with traditional titanium implants. Titanium implants have been studied extensively, and have a high success and low complication rate. Traditional implants provide the most stable foundation for dental restorations.
