Great people! Honest and friendly. AND they TEXT you...not just automated texts. You can literally have conversations about scheduling appointments through text back and forth. It’s so much better than playing phone tag.

Very nice office (with TVs in every room which is a great distraction from the dental work!), friendly, professional staff and Dr Bill does great work. Had an implant done recently and I’m very happy with it! Highly recommended.

Advanced Technology

Digital X-Rays

The dental x-rays of the past involved hazardous chemicals and took up a lot of physical space. Modern digital x-rays require no darkrooms or chemicals and can be pulled up with ease. The high-resolution imagery is far better than the old x-rays viewed on a light board. In addition, the digital x-rays that are taken today expose patients to less radiation than the x-rays of the past. Digital technology gives us a safer, more environmentally friendly way for dentists to identify oral health problems.

Planmeca ProMax 3D Max

While traditional x-rays are helpful, dentists also rely on CT scans to help with proper diagnosis and planning procedures such as implant placement. The Planmeca ProMax® 3D Max imaging system can quickly generate a three-dimensional digital x-ray of a patient's teeth, jaw joint, and cranium. The high-resolution imagery reduces guesswork and leads to more accurate dental treatment.

Intraoral Cameras

X-rays and CT scans are great for analyzing the structures of the mouth. Intraoral cameras can also play an important diagnostic and planning role. This pen-sized wand has a camera on the end, allowing dentists to look into a patient's mouth on a screen. The intraoral camera can access those hard-to-reach places. Thanks to the high-quality images from this handheld tool, we can get a better look at a patient's tooth structure and gum tissue.

Dental Lasers

Our Warsaw practice relies on laser dentistry for a number of dental care tasks. These highly precise lasers can replace the scalpels, drills, and traditional tools of yesterday. Dental lasers can reduce bleeding during oral surgery, improve the detection of cavities and other problems, and enhance the results of cosmetic procedures.

Spectra Cavity Detection

The Spectra intraoral camera is specially designed to help with cavity detection. The small handheld device takes pictures of each tooth. The images are then color-coded, revealing problem areas on a tooth's structure. This dental technology is essential for the early detection of tooth decay, and preserving as much natural tooth structure as possible.

VELscope Oral Cancer Screening

The VELscope® system is a key tool to detect early signs of oral cancer. The handheld device emits blue-spectrum light. By bringing attention to abnormal growths in the mouth, the light from the VELscope can identify tissue that should be examined further. By analyzing these potential problem areas, we can diagnose and treat oral cancer in its earliest stages.

The Versatility of Dental Lasers

Prepping Teeth for Dental Restorations

If you have a cavity or compromised tooth structure, we can use laser technology to prep your tooth for a custom dental restoration.

Treating Gum Tissue

Laser technology also allows dentists to better treat the gums. Lasers play a key role in gum contouring and periodontal disease treatment.

Whitening Stained Teeth

While professional bleaching agents are effective, some whitening systems require the use of laser light to properly brighten smiles.

Diagnosing Dental Conditions

Laser dentistry plays an integral role in many diagnostics tools. These safe and effective lasers can identify dental issues with pinpoint accuracy.

Oral Cancer Symptoms

/

  • Discoloration of the tongue, gums, and other soft tissues
  • Numbness or tenderness in the mouth
  • Difficulty chewing
  • Swelling or blockage of the throat
  • Trouble speaking normally
  • Abnormal swelling or growths in the mouth

How Dental Technology Can Save You Money

Sophisticated dental technology helps our dentists give you the best care available. While these technologies may make treatment cost slightly more than an office without them, it's important to understand that these tools can actually save you money over time. Here’s how:

  • Early detection can result in less costly treatment. Detecting teeth and gum issues early on means timely treatment can be less expensive. Problems like severe tooth decay can be much more expensive to address.
  • Keep your treatment under one roof. Advanced oral health problems may require your dentist to refer you to a specialist or other practice that could be out of network. Our dental technology is designed to catch issues before they need specialized care.
  • Justify coverage by your insurance provider. High-resolution images of your teeth and gums can be easily captured and submitted to your insurance provider to illustrate why we recommend certain treatments, and why they should qualify for coverage.
